Known to most as Grandpa Bert, he was a rugged, hardworking man who built his life—and our business—on grit, integrity, and a deep respect for the land. With an axe in hand and a vision in mind, Bert laid the foundation for what would become a family tradition rooted in craftsmanship and care.
Bert’s passion for the woods and dedication to honest work was passed down to his son, Todd. He took what his father built and expanded it—introducing modern techniques, safety practices, and a growing reputation for reliability throughout the region. Under Todd’s leadership, the business grew not just in size, but in heart, as the family name became synonymous with trust and tradition.
Today, the legacy continues with Colton, the third generation to take the reins. Raised among the trees, Colton brings a blend of old-school values and forward-thinking innovation to the business. With a deep respect for the past and an eye on the future, he’s committed to carrying the family tradition into the next era of logging—sustainably, responsibly, and proudly.
